Ok Week three is about white balance. The three images above show auto white balance, Tungsten white balance, and custom white balance. I don't really see much difference between the auto and the tungsten, but the custom has a obvious difference, which could have a pretty big impact on indoor photos.
Week 2 - Shutter Speed

Image 1 - 1/80 shutter speed

Image 2 - 1/200 shutter speed

Ok so this week's challenge was about shutter speed. The faster the shutter speed the the more you are able to freeze action. Slower shutter speed will cause action to blur.

I have to say I don't see much difference between the images. I couldn't go any faster on the shutter speed because of lack of light in the kitchen at the time.

PS- do I need some CLR for the faucet or what!

Ok so here are my first three pictures. (Yes, I know not the most interesting subject but it works!)
Picture 1 is f/5
Picture 2 is f/8
Picture 3 is f/22

The idea here is that the higher the f/stop the deeper the focus area. So the f/5 the sharpest area of focus is on the flowers. The f/8 image is supposed to be a bit sharper toward the background with focus still mainly on the flowers, finally f/22 the background is much more in focus.

Can I also say not the best time of year for taking pictures outside! Brrr!
